Mixed Berry & Custard Tart

Tart Shell

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 2 tablespoons cold water

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1⁄4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour

  • 1⁄3 cup sugar

  • 8 tablespoon (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into1⁄4 inch cubes

Custard

  • 1 egg yolk
